Online Security

T. WHITE'S BIKES is proud to be associated with DPS, New Zealand's largest and most preferred payment gateway provider. T. WHITE'S BIKES does not collect or store any credit card information. This information is all processed by DPS. When making a purchase you will be directed to a secure webpage hosted by DPS to enter your payment details. The DPS hosted payments page is secured using SSL.

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is a method of ensuring that information submitted through your website is secure and cannot be accessed by unauthorised users. When a site offers an SSL-secured form, the information submitted via that form (typically credit card information) is encrypted using a special certificate key and then decrypted with another key after it has been transmitted. When users access a site secured with SSL using their browser, a symbol displays in their browser windows indicating that the site is secure.

Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

The Consumer Guarantee Act sets out minimum standards for goods sold by T. WHITE'S BIKES. In the event that goods sold are not of good quality or are faulty, the customer has the right to a repair, replacement or a refund.

Fair Trading Act 1986

The Fair Trading Act is designed to protect the customer being misled, either intentionally or unintentionally. This applies to all aspects of the promotion and sale of goods and services including: pricing; where the product was made; where the product is from; the meeting of New Zealand safety standards; availability of products in store and the sales techniques used. The Commerce Commission enforces the Fair Trading Act 1986.

Pricing

All pricing shown is in New Zealand Dollars. GST (Goods and Services Tax) at 15% is included within the price. Payments from customers outside of New Zealand are required to pay by Credit Card in New Zealand Dollars. We do not accept any other currency. Your credit card issuer may apply charges for currency conversion. T.WHITE'S BIKES will not cover the cost of these charges or accept responsibility for any currency conversion charges.

Delivery Policy

Items are generally shipped within 2-3 days of placing your order. We deliver to all addresses within New Zealand. Delivery costs are calculated when you confirm your order. We charge based upon whether the delivery amounts to a small, medium, large or extra large order. This is based upon the largest item ordered. Our charges for this (incl. GST) are:

• Small: $5
• Medium: $10
• Large: $20
• Extra Large: $35

Exchange Policy

Please note each item purchased is quality control checked prior to being sent out.

In the event of an exchange, items are subject to product availability. The customer will incur any shipping costs for returning items to be exchanged. We can only exchange an item for a different style, and colour subject to our stock availability. Exchanged items can only be dispatched after the returned goods have been received (within ten days) and undergone a quality control check back at head office.  Please be aware that you will incur an additional freight charge for the delivery of the replacement item.

Please note: if we receive your return in a condition which we feel is not fit for exchange or refund we shall get in touch with you to discuss next steps. T.WHITE'S BIKES reserves the right to refuse a return or exchange for any item sent back in a condition where the item has been used or damaged. Only items which T.WHITE'S BIKES can confirm as new and unused will be eligible for a return or exchange, so that they have reached our returns department within the time frame outlined above.

New Zealand Law

Any goods supplied or sold by T.WHITE'S BIKES, are sold or supplied under contract of New Zealand Law. The Laws of sale and contract by any other country do not apply.

Privacy

The personal information supplied to T.WHITE'S BIKES Limited will be stored by T.WHITE'S BIKES on a secure server. All information is encrypted whilst in transit. T.WHITE'S BIKES will not share your personal information with any other third party. Whilst all care is taken to offer a secure system we cannot provide a 100% guaranteed secure system. Please note, the information you provide is provided at your own risk.
